Efficiency of labour, therefore, denotes the capacity of the worker to produce relatively large amount or better kind of work or both in a given period of time. The efficiency of labour is that quality of the worker by which in given conditions in a specified time be produces more or better type of goods. Hence, the efficiency of labour depends on the. quantity and quality of the product and the time is taken for its production.
