(b) Cal2 > CaBr2 > CaCl2 > CaF2

Cation is same in all the given compounds, while anions are different. According to Fajan's rule, the larger the size of the anion, greater is the covalent character of the bond.

Therefore, correct order of covalent character is

Cal2 > CaBr2 > CaCl2 > CaF2
