Unit of he/e in original paper is incorrect

Energy available E = hc/λ = 1.237 x 10-6 evm / 970 x 10-10

= 12 . 75 eV (4th energy level of hydrogen atom)

Hence, the number of lines present in the emission spectrum = \(^4C_2 =6\)
