Let the equation x + y +z = 5 , x + 2y + 2z = 6, x + 3y + λz =μ have infinite solutions then the value of  λ + μ is

Correct option  (2) 10

Explanation:

for infinitely many solutions

form (i) and (ii) y + z = 1

x = 4 which satisfy (iii) equation hence there are infinite number of solutions λ + μ = 10
