Best answer

(b) x2 - (p+1)x + p = 0

P is a Prime numbers

∴ P & 1 are only factors of p.

∴ Quadratic equation having its roots as factors of p.

= Quadratic equation having its roots p & 1 .

⇒ (x - p) (x - 1) = 0

⇒ x2 - (p +1)x + p = 0
