An aircraft is flying horizontally at a height of \( 2000 m \) vertically above the ground. If the angle subtended at a ground observation point by the aircraft positions, \( 8 s \) apart is \( 45^{\circ} \). What is the speed of aircraft?

(2) \( 200 m / s \)

(3) \( 250 m / s \) 

(4) \( 400 m / s \)

Correct option is (3) 250 m/s

\(tan45° = \frac{2000}{x}\)

\(1 = \frac{2000}x\)

\(x = 2000m\)

speed = \(\frac{distance}{time}\)

speed = \(\frac{2000}8\)

speed = 250 m/s
