माना कि एकक कोष्ठिका के सिरे की लम्बाई = a

गोले की त्रिज्या = r

∴ गोले एक-दूसरे को सम्पर्क करते हैं।

a = 2r

एक एकक कोष्ठिका में गोलों की संख्या

= 8 × 1/8 = 1

एक गोले का आयतन = 4/3 πr3

घन का आयतन = a × a × a = a3

संकुलन क्षमता = \(\frac {\frac 43\pi r^3}{8r^3} = \frac{4 \times 22}{3\times 7 \times 8}\)

= 0.524

= 52.4%
