Think-Tank and Noodle are two main characters of the play ‘The Book That Saved the Earth’. These both have contrasting qualities.

Think-Tank likes to be called ‘Great and Mighty’. He is the ruler of the Mars and likes to give orders and commands. He is a man of self recommendation. But he has no intelligence. He is a coward too. Guessing an invasion on the part of the earth, he flees away from his planet. While Noodle is clever and wise. He is an apprentice to the ruler of the Mars. He is a man of knowledge. His way of offering information is such that it does not offend his boss. He often corrects the mistakes of Think-Tank very politely. He never wants to take credit of his contribution.

OR

Ausable had great presence of mind. Max was Ausable’s rival secret agent. He wanted to take a report concerning some new missiles. He threatened to shoot Ausable in case he resisted. Ausable got rid of Max very cleverly. He convinced Max that there was a balcony under the room window and one could easily enter and escape through it. He himself knew that soon a waiter would knock at the door to serve drinks. As soon as the waiter knocked the door, Ausable told that the police had come Max jumped upon the balcony which did not exist. Thus he fell down.
