In X.25 you will have to set up various modes like call setup mode, data transfer, idle mode, call clearing and restart mode.
X.25 is used for wide area network for packet-switched data communication.
Ethernet network on the other hand is a protocol for local area networks used in software and hardware devices.
It is very easy to setup Ethernet with simple steps such as:
- Connect the cable to a yellow LAN.
- The other end of the cable should be connected to a laptop or a computer.
- The Ethernet should have a green signal or light flashing
- To finally check it, you can open a webpage and confirm it's loading.
Therefore, it is easier to set up Ethernet than X.25. It can be set up by any person.
