Best answer

Correct option is (A) x2 + 6x + 5 = 0

Sum of the roots = (−5) + (−1) = −6,

Product of roots = (−5) × (−1) = 5.

∴ x2 − (sum of roots)x + product of roots = 0

x2 − (−6)x + 5 = 0

Hence, x2 + 6x + 5 = 0
