(d) Electrons
The atom has a very basic structure in which the central part is made up of positively charged particles called protons neutrally charged particles called neutrons.
The central part of the atom which consists of both the protons and the neutrons are called the Nucleus.
The electrons are scattered around the nucleus of an atom and revolve around it in a fixed path or orbit. The electrons of an atom are negatively charged particles.
The charge of an electron and proton is similar in value but opposite in charges.
