AICTE JK Scholarship 2024: The JK Scholarship, also known as the PMSSS Scholarship 2023, is intended for students from Jammu and Kashmir who want to pursue higher education in fields such as engineering and technology, nursing, pharmacy, hotel management and catering technology, architecture, crafts and design, arts, medical, and general education. The scheme is also accessible for Diploma students who want to pursue a degree in Engineering and Technology through Lateral Entry (second year BE/B.Tech).
The Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS), J&K is a prestigious scholarship opportunity for students from Jammu and Kashmir. Begun in 2011, the scheme aims to improve career options for young scholars in the state by providing financial assistance to pursue undergraduate degrees outside of J&K. Every year, 5000 new scholarships are awarded for study at the greatest academic institutions outside of J&K. The AICTE JK 2024 Scholarship is administered by the All-India Council for Technical Education and is carried out inside the state by J&K Cell.

JK Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- Students must have a J&K State State Subject (domicile).
- Students must have passed the 10+2 exam from a JKBOSE or CBSE affiliated school in J&K.
- Students must have completed a 10+3 diploma from the J&K State Polytechnic in order to be admitted immediately into the second year in the prescribed list of colleges against the vacant seats from the previous year.
- The student's total family income should not exceed Rs. 8.00 lakh per year.
JK Scholarship Application Procedure
- Visit the official AICTE JK Scholarship Login website at www.aicte-jk-scholarship-gov.in.
- To apply for PMSSS, click the registration button.
- Fill in all of the required information.
- Submit the JK Scholarship application.
- Candidates who successfully register will receive an SMS/email to a registered mobile number/email for verification.
- To complete the registration procedure, click the verification link.
- Candidates must log in via the AICTE JK Scholarship website after successfully registering.
- Keep jpg/png scanned copies of all supporting papers with file sizes no more than 2 MB.
- Once logged in, thoroughly read the booklet, tick the declaration, and click the "Proceed Further" button.
- Fill up the application form with all of your personal information, residence, family income, educational information, and so on.
- Upload the required supporting documents and preview the application form.
- Provide preferences and complaints centre information.
- Finally, click "Submit Application" to submit the application form.
- After successfully submitting an application online, candidates must print the application form and attend the facilitation centre with all supporting documents in original for document verification.
- At the time of verification, bring photocopies of all certificates to the facilitation centre.
- Following the completion of the document verification, candidates must assemble a copy of their document verification report.
