These lines has been extracted from Indian civilization and culture. It means our civilization, culture and swaraj depend upon restricting wants and self denial instead of multiplying our wants and self indulgence. If we copy the European civilization it will rain us and our country. Civilization in the real sense of the terms consists in the deliberate and voluntary restriction of wants not in the multiplication of our wants.
