We need to compound four different ratios here –

  • 4 : 9
  • 32 : 42 = 9 : 16
  • 23 : 33 = 8 : 27
  • 9 : 7

By the definition of the compounded ratios, the final result would be –

4 × 9 × 8 × 9 : 9 × 16 × 27 × 7

Writing it in fractional form –

\(\frac{4 × 9 × 8 × 9}{9 × 16 × 27 × 7}\)

\(\frac{2}{21}\)

Thus, the required ratio is 2 : 21.
