Best answer

(D) 1

The rate equation for a reaction is \(\frac {dx}{dt} = k [H]^{1/2}[B]^{1/2}\) Order of the reaction with respect to H and B is 1/2 and 1/2 respectively.

Hence, the overall order of the reaction is \(\frac {1}{2}+\frac {1}{2} =1\).
