1. Carbon dioxide, chlorophyll and sunlight all are essential for photosynthesis.

2. Rate of photosynthesis is minimum in red light and maximum in green light.

3. Increase in O2 concentration decreases photosynthesis.

Best answer

The correct option is: (c) 1 and 3

Explanation:

he raw materials needed by plants to undergo photosynthesis are sunlight, water, soil nutrients, and carbon dioxide. The chlorophyll molecules capture the photons of sunlight to pass it to reaction centre. The range of the spectrum of sunlight absorbed by chlorophylls in photosynthesis is red and blue. They do not absorb the green portion of the spectrum. The concentration of oxygen when increases beyond a limit it causes the rate of photosynthesis to decrease.
