Best answer

Approximate atomic weight of metal = 6.4 / 0.06 = 106.6

0.08 g O combines with 1 g metal

8 g O combines with 1 x 8 / 0.08 = 100 g metal

Equivalent weight metal = 100 g

Valency = 106 / 100 = 1

So exact atomic weight is 100.
