A solid conducting sphere of radius 10cm is enclosed by a thin metallic shell of radius 20cm. a charge q=20 µC is given to the inner sphere. Find the heat generated in the process, the inner sphere is connected to the shell by a conducting wire.

Now after connection all the charge will transfer to be outer shall. Now, the heat generated would be same as then energy of the region between the sphere and the shell (Electric field elsewhere is same)
