Given | A | = 5 and | B | = 3

Now | 3AB | = 33 | AB |    (\(\because\) AB is a matrix of order 3 × 3)

\(= 27 |A| \cdot |B|\)

\(= 27 \cdot 5 \cdot 3\)

\(= 135 \cdot 3\)

= 405
