During the direct process a ⇒ c, 20.0 J of work are done by the system and 30.0 J of heat are added to the system. During the process a ⇒ ⇒ c, 25.0 J of heat are added to the system. How much work is done by the system during a ⇒ ⇒ c?

Correct option (C) 15.0 J

∆U for each process is equal so QAC + WAC = QABC + WABC, or +30 J + (–20 J) = +25 J + WABC.
