A person starts from origin and for his linear motion velocity is given as shown in figure. Find displacement of the person from t = 15 sec to t = 35 sec.

Explanation:

Area under velocity time graph gives displacement.

The answer is 0 I.e B.

As the displacement is calculated by area of v-t graph.

Sum of area is +75 m2- 75 m2=0

The area above X axis is +75 m2 and area of triangle below X axis is -ve.i. e  - 75 m2.
