A vector A makes an angle of 60 degrees with the x-axis of the xy-system of coordinates. If its magnitude is 50 units, find its components in x, y directions. If another vector B of the same magnitude makes an angle of 30 degrees with the X-axis of the XYsystem of coordinates. Find its components now. Are they same as before?

When A makes an angle of 60° with the x-axis:

 When A makes an angle of 30° with the x-axis

The components in the two cases are obviously not the same.
