(Cation is not hydrolysed)
NaHCO3, NaHS, etc., can undergo ionisation to from H+ ion and can undergo hydrolysis to from OH– (Na+ ion is not hydrolysed)

Cation is also hydrolysed :
(i) Salts like NH4HCO3, NH4HS in which HCO3– and HS– are amphiprotic respectively but NH4+ will also hydrolysed.
(ii) Equilibria in such solutions will be :
