Best answer

Mass of solute = 3.0g

Moles of solute = Mass of solute / Molar Mass

= 3.0 g / 60 g mol-1  = 0.05 mol

Mass of Solvent = 250g

= 250 / 1000 = 0.25 Kg

Molality of Solution = Moles of Solute / Mass of Solvent in kg.

= 0.05 Mol / 0.25 Kg = 0.2 m
