Here k = − 4/3 and

x = (-3 + (-4/3)(- 1))/(1 - 4/3) = (-9 + 4)/(3 - 4) = 5

y = (- 7 + (-4/3)(-4))/(1 - 4/3) = (- 21 + 16)/(3 - 4) = 5.

The point P has coordinates (5, 5).
