Hydrophytes:
Plants that live in abundance of water with at least their lower parts are called hydrophytes. e.g: Hydrilla, Pistia, typha etc.
Xerophytes:
Plants that are adapted to grow in dry habitats calles as xerophytes. eg. Opuntia, Asparagus.
Mesophytes:
Terrestrial plants which are adapted to neither a particulory dry nor particularing wet environment. eg. Corn(maize), Clover etc.
