The two triangles are similar if

AB/DE = BC/EF

and ∠ABC = ∠DEF = β (say)

So, Z1 - Z2/Z3 - Z2 = AB/BC (cosβ + i sinβ)

Similarly, a - b/c - b = DE/EF(cosβ + i sinβ)
