Using quotient rule, differentiable with respect to x

(i) y = (2x + 3)/(x - 2)

(ii) y = (ax + b)/(cx + d)

(iii) y = (1 + 1/x)/(1 - 1/x)

(i) dy/dx = ((x - 2)2 - (2x + 3)1)/(x - 2)2

= - 7/(x - 2)2

(ii) dy/dx = ((cx + d)a - (ax + b)c)/(cx + d)2
