Qualifications of members of the Rajyasabha:
1. Must be a citizen of India.
2. “Should have attained the age of 30 years.
3. Owe allegiance to the constitution.
4. Must not hold any office of profit under the Government – National, Regional or local.
5. Should not be insolvent or man of unsound mind.
6. Must not have acquired the citizenship of a foreign state.
