An electric field line is an imaginary line or curve drawn from a point of electric field such that tangent to it (at any point) give the direction of electric field at that point. Properties:
1. Electric field lines starting from positive charge and terminating at negative charge.
2. The number of field lines that starts or end at a charge is directly proportional to magnitude of the charge.
