(d) Algea multiply rapidly when nutrients are present there. So, discharge of nutrients favour algea growth from estuaries to sea. The run off the land during the monsoon bring salts which favours the growth of algea. Upwelling of the sea water from the sea flow brings the nutrients on tap level leading in fast algea multiplication.
