Relationship between MP and TP is stated below:
(i) Till the third unit of variable factor, MP increases from 4 to 28 units and the TP increases for every additional unit.
(ii) When MP decreases, TP increases at a diminishing rate.
(iii) When MP = 0, TP is maximum.
(iv) When MP is negative, TP declines.
