Find the order and degree of the following differential equations :

(i) dy/dx = sin2x + cos2x

(ii) d2y/dx2 = sinx + cosx

(i) dy/dx = sin2x + cos2x

The highest derivative of y = dy/dx = (d1y/dx1)1

Thus, order = 1, degree = 1.

(ii) d2y/dx2 = sinx + cosx

The highest derivative of 

y = d2y/dx2 = (d2y/dx2)1

Thus, order = 2, degree = 1.
