Based on the sum property of the triangle
∠ A + ∠ B + ∠ C = 180o
To find ∠ C
∠ C = 180o – ∠ A – ∠ B
By substituting the values in the above equation
∠ C = 180o – 45o – 45o
By subtraction
∠ C = 180o – 90o
∠ C = 90o
So we get that ∠ C is the greatest angle in △ ABC
Hence, AB is the longest side which is opposite to ∠ C.
