More political participation of elite section means dominance of professional politicians and other elite groups in politics. According to famous political scholar Joseph Schumpeter, to run the government and form the policies are the tasks of professional politicians. The role of the public is to vote to elect their representatives and therefore the citizens of a country have very little participation in politics. These professional politicians belong to elite section of society.
