32 – log34 = 32 log33 – log34

= 3log3 32 – log34

= 3log3 9 – log3 4

= 3log3(9/4)

If log M = – 2, 1423 then to get its characteristic and mantissa is made positive as following:

= 9/4 = 2 1/4 (∵ alogax = x)
