Water Pollution: With addition of toxic material, microbes, chemical material and other unwanted material, water loses its natural quality and becomes so contaminated that it does not remain fit for use by human beings. This is called loss of water quality or water pollution.
Cause of Water Pollution: Throwing waste and poisonous material regularly into water sources such as rivers, lakes and tanks, is the main cause of water pollution. These pollutants make the surface water polluted.
