Best answer

Answer is (A) 60°

Let AB is a pole of height 6 m

Length of a shadow of pole BC = 2√3 m

Let angle of elevation of sun ∠ACB = θ

From right angled ΔABC,

tan θ = AB/BC

⇒ tan θ = 6/2√3

⇒ tan θ = √3

⇒ tan θ = tan 60°

⇒ θ = 60°
