History tells us about our ancestors. Literature tells us about the ideas prevalent those days. What our ancestors thought and acted was recorded in literature. It preserves the ideals of love, faith, duty, friendship, freedom which are all the parts of human life. History tells us about the way they lived whereas literature tells us about way the people think. Whatever is written in literature, is eternal and immortal.
इतिहास हमें हमारे पुरखों के बारे में बताता है। साहित्य हमें उन विचारों के बारे में बताता है जो उस समय विद्यमानं थे। हमारे पूर्वज जैसा सोचते और कार्य करते थे वह साहित्य में लिखा गया था। यह प्रेम, विश्वास, कर्तव्य, मित्रता, स्वतंत्रता के विचारों को संरक्षित रखता है जो कि मानव जीवन के भाग हैं। इतिहास हमें बताता है कि वे लोग कैसे जिए थे जबकि साहित्य यह कहता है कि लोग कैसे सोचते हैं। जो कुछ साहित्य में लिखा है, वह शाश्वत और अमर है।
