In right angled triangles ABC and CDE

∠B = ∠D = 90° (given)

∠ACB = ∠DCE (vertically opposite angles)

and BC = CD (given)

ΔABC = ΔCDE (by ASA congruency property)

AB = DE (by c.p.c.t)

⇒ Yes, AB and DE are equal.
