The following should be kept in mind to make drawing of a graph:
- Accuracy : While giving an attractive form to diagrams accuracy must be taken care of, since confusing results are obtained from inaccurate and erroneous pictures.
- Suitable size : There is no definite rule about the size of diagrams. The diagram should neither be too large nor very small. Diagrams should be constructed in accordance with the size of paper on which they are drawn.
- Index : While constructing the diagram; the various symbols used(points, lines , shades, rectangles, etc.) must be clarified, giving indications on the bottom right comer of the diagrams so that the picture could be understood clearly.
- Simplicity : In order to understand the diagram easily, it should generally be simple. This prevents confusion for the reader.
