First of all we draw a rough sketch of the given measurements :

Steps of Construction

  1. First of all we draw a line segment AB = 5 cm.
  2. Draw an arc of radius 6.7 from point A and an arc of radius 5.0 cm. from B intersecting each other at point C. Join AC and BC. So, we obtained the triangle ABC.

3. From point B, we draw an arc of radius 5.9 cm. and from point C draw an arc of radius 5 cm. intersecting each other at point D.

Join BD and CD. Join AD. Thus, we obtained required quadrilateral ABCD.
