Steps of Construction
- First of all, we draw a line segment AB = 5.1 cm.
- Construct an angle ABX of 90° at B with the help of pencil and Compass.
- Taking B as a centre and radius 5.1 cm. is drawn an arc intersection BX at C.
- Now taking A as centre, draw an arc of radius 5.1 cm. and taking C as centre draw an arc of 5.1 cm. intersection each other at point D.
- Join CD and AD.
Thus, we obtained the required square ABCD.
