Jijabai was the mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji. She was a very intellectual, religious, strongly determined, self-esteemed woman having belief in religious principles. She was a devotee of Tulja Bhawani. She created self-respect in Shivaji’s heart towards his culture. She enhanced his knightly enthusiasm.
Shivaji got inspiration from his mother only, to capture the Fort of Kondala. She always encouraged her son to face great danger and challenges to protect the honour of our country. Shivaji learnt only from his modier the quality to think peacefully even at the time of crisis and also learnt footpoorf strategies.
