Solve (D2 – 2D – 15) y = 0 given that dy/dx = 0 and d2y/dx2 = 2 differential equations.

A.E is m2 – 2m – 15 = 0 

(m – 5)(m + 3) = 0 

m = 5, -3 

C.F = Ae5x + Be-3x

The general solution is y = Ae5x + Be-3x …….. (1)

Differentiating (1) w.r.t  'x'
