Leclanche Cell 

1. It is a primary cell 

2. It is a non-rechargeable cell

3. Anode : Zinc container 

Cathode : Graphite rod in contact with MnO2 

4. Electrolytes: Ammonium chloride and zinc chloride in water 

5. Emf of the cell = 1.5 V

Lead storage battery 

1. It is a secondary cell 

2. It is rechargeable cell 

3. Anode : Spongy lead

Cathode : Lead plate bearing PbO2 

4. Electrolytes: 38% by mass of H2SO4 with density 1.2 g/ml 

5. emf of the cell 2 V.
