Best answer

Given: Angle of prism, A = 60°

Angle of incidence, i = 45°

Angle of emergence e = 45°

To find: Angle of deviation = D

We know

A + D = i + e

So, D = i + e – A

D = 45° + 45° – 60° = 30°

Hence angle of deviation is 30°
