Khadar Bhangar
(i) It consists of newer deposits of  alluvial soil. The soil is renewed every year. (i) Consists of older deposits of alluvial soil. Alluvial deposits are frequent without renewal.
(ii) It is found on the flood plains,near the bottom of the valleys. (ii) It is found in large parts of Northern plains near 30 metres above sea level.
(iii) More fertile in nature, finer in texture (iii) Less fertile in nature, coarse in texture
(iv) It is known as dhaya in punjab. (iv) It is known as a bet in punjab.
