Best answer

x – 2y = 0

3x + 4y - 20 = 0

\(\frac{1}{3}\) ≠ \(\frac{-2}{4}\)

As, \(\frac{a1}{a2}\) ≠ \(\frac{b1}{b2}\) is one condition for consistency.

Therefore, the pair of equations is consistent.
