S. No. Photosystem-I Photoystem-II
(i) The system is located in both the non-appressed part of grana thylakoids as well as stroma thylakoids. Photoystem II is present in the appressed part present of grana thylakoids.
(ii) Its photocentre is P700. Its photocentre is P680.
(iii) It is not connected with photolysis of water. Photoystem-II is connected with photolytic oxidation of water.
